Great item, works great
This is an excellent one piece double boiler. It works flawlessly and is fun to use. This item is also very well made and seems to be very durable. I was impressed by the very thick heavy base on the pot and it comes to a boil very fast. I'm very glad I bought this item. Highly recommended.
Excellent
I've often been annoyed with double boilers, because the melted chocolate or what have you ends up trapped in the ridges of the top pot. This product is amazing. It is completely seamless which makes transferring simple. Furthermore because the water is boiled in the contained unit when you remove the item from the heat you can allow it to sit, without the liquid cooling. Which is genius.
Seriously I will never ever ever buy another double boiler again.
The only issue is that the company's shipping practices are awful and they don't pad the box, which means the first one of these I received had a broken handled!
