Victorio VKP1040 Stainless Steel Steam Juicer

Satisfied with steam extractor
I used this steam extractor for the first time yesterday. It worked great. Pot is just the right size and cleans up easily. It works on most fruits and sure beats all that mashing and straining. To use you just wash your fruit, load it in the top pan, put water in the bottom pan and drain off the juice, as it appears, out the tube, from the center pan.
I have used an older aluminum steamer for several years, but I'm happy with my upgrade to stainless.
The one thing I don't like about it--The steamer is made in China. We can make this in the U.S.A.!

Economical buy
I bought this last year here - for $10 less. At the time it was a better buy for me than a Mehu Liisa, as I didn't think I'd use it much. And I don't.
The quality is quite good and functions just as it should. I've used it with raspberries, grapes and black currants - with excellent results. I bought it because I read that a gal uses her name brand steam juicer for choke cherries - the worst fruit I have ever tried to work with! I did not have much success though. I steamed too long the 1st time (and mashed them a bit for pulp) and the juice was really bitter. The 2nd time, I only steamed about 40 min and the juice was still a little bitter. Can't say as I remember tasting the juice when I simmered and smashed the fruits by hand though - maybe it was as funky tasting and only tastes good after sugar is added??! Oh! Don't try Seaberries (Sea Buckthorn) in this - they smell like vomit after heat treatment! Use a cold extraction method.

So awesome!
I lve this juicer! It is a great value for the amount of use I have had. Pure juice and little work to produce it. Nice stainless steel material and easy to clean up!
