Nice cooking vessel
I've used this once, so far, and it produced very nice results. I would have given it 5 stars, but there are few small issues [not attributable to Amazon, I don't think]. For one thing, the product description says it can be soaked in water. However, the tagine I received from Mason and Cash was glazed all over, inside and out. Rather pointless to soak it! Also, the product page said that it came with instructions and recipes. There were no recipes with the tagine, and the only instructions were cleaning instructions on a label inside the vessel. Luckily, I had also purchased a tagine cookbook from Amazon, and it had a lot of information on the use of the various types of tagine.
A couple of warnings, however. The description says it can be used on a hob with a diffuser - buy one if you don't already have one! You will ruin it if you don't. Also, my tagine cookbook says to tip the lid away from yourself occasionally to bleed off steam. The glazing is VERY slippery, and you...
