Item is as described, good value for price
Item arrived today, two days ahead of the earliest projected arrival date - the vendor is to be commended. It is exactly as the shipper describes it and as it appears in the photo. The vessel is permanently attached to the base and chimney - it cannot be removed.
The product description says that it "serves up to 6." To one unaccustomed to Asian cooking, this may be misleading, depending on what sort of foods you expect this thing to prepare and how you intend to prepare them. The volume of the pot is not given. I just measured the volume of the vessel portion. It holds about 1.5 quarts. There is a rim about 5/8" below the flange for the lid - it is not easily visible in the photo - which I used to measure the volume. I don't recommend filling the vessel above this "fill line" because of the risk of the pot boiling over; what's more, the vessel's handles are riveted just above this "fill line" and they do not appear water-tight...
