When my friend enthusiastically recommended Microhearth, my initial thought was $50. for microwave cookware seemed too high. After first try, I was hooked! The technology they used is different from other microwave cookwares. They say it converts electromagnetic waves into infrared energy for cooking, that's what makes food moist and flavorful. It turns out it's worth every penny. No more bulky pots and pans. Less clean ups. It practically does everything that the gas range or oven does. It fries to a crisp brown, sautees, steams, bakes, grills and more without food being drying out. I strongly recommend Microhearth to everyone. It's definately worth it!
Something new..
This made it much easier to cook steaks which was always a problem for me. I can also cook frozen fish with this. My problem is that my microwave shuts down when it gets hot, so not so good for dishs that require a long time (steaming/baking). I also noticed that the heating is not even throughout the pan. The food in the middle can get burned while the food on the edges need more cooking. So I try making rice crispy with this. And the stain from my first burn is not going away. I noticed that the price of the pan decreased right after my purchase (around 20% discount), and the seller refunded the difference when I contacted them which was nice. I don't know how they knew, but they also included a Korean manual, which was nice.
Good for steaks, fish & fried rice!

I would recommend this item to anyone who likes saving time and getting a "real meal" on the table in "no-time flat". I think it is also an added benefit that this item came with a cook booklet as well as a DVD to show the proper use and care for the best results. This product and the manufacturer are at the top of my list for future buying of similar items!
